The 3 Metrics That Matter:
- Catechin Content: The higher the percentage, the more premium the product. Pharmaceutical grades require 60%+, while tanning grades may accept lower ranges.
- Moisture Content: High moisture leads to mold during shipping. Export-quality Gambier must be dried to below 15% moisture.
- Ash & Impurities: Poorly processed Gambier may contain sand or twigs.
